Wedding: Cooper/Marton
Desiree Anne Cooper of Marysville and Sean Anthony Marton of Bandon, Ore., were married June 11 at Murphy’s Irish Pub/Rockwater Restaurant at South Lake Tahoe.
A reception followed at the same site.
The bride, daughter of Deborah Peter and Floyd Cooper of Olivehurst and granddaughter of Bonnie Russell of Gridley, was attended by Jenna Ridgeway of Olivehurst as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Danielle Adams of Yuba City, Stefanie Cummins of Warner Robins, Ga., and the bride’s niece, Lyndsie Cooper of Las Vegas.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Marysville High School.
The groom, son of Donna Marton and Alex Marton of Coquille, Ore., had his father as best man.
Ushers were Clay Simpson of Brownsville, Shawn Meyer of Yuba City and Jacob Ridgeway of Olivehurst.
The groom, a 2000 graduate of Bandon High School in Bandon, Ore., served six years in the U.S. Air Force.
The couple plan to honeymoon with a Mediterranean cruise out of Italy.
They are making a home in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where she is working as an administrative assistant for Northrop Grumman Corporation and he is working as a civilian for a military contractor.
