Felony Arrests

Jesse James Sotelo, 21, of Sacramento was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5:30 p.m. June 30 at McCune and S. Walton Avenues on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery. He was booked into Sutter County Jail without bail.

Vaipou Patrick Garrigan-Afamasaga, 18, of Elk Grove was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 9 p.m. June 30 at McCune and S. Walton Avenues on suspicion of robbery and accessory to a crime. He was booked into Sutter County Jail without bail.

Demitrius Alexander Castellano, 26, of 22nd Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5 p.m. June 30 at Wilson and April Lane on suspicion of burglary. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

Larry McBride, 39, of Lincoln, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Office at 1:45 p.m. June 30 at the sheriff's department headquarters building in Yuba City on suspicion of threatening a crime or great bodily injury, force with a deadly weapon other than a firearm and vandalism. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

Toby Garrett Brill, 27, of the 1600 block of 11th Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Office at 11:30 p.m. June 30 at Olivehurst and 10th Avenues on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence arrests

Steven Joseph Sargent-Eschevarria Jr., 23, of the 900 block of Virginia Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 8:09 p.m. June 30 at Feather River Boulevard at Highway 70. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Chertres Ellesse LaMarche, 23, of the 4100 block of Monarch Trail, Wheatland, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 10:57 p.m. June 30 in the 1400 block of Buchanan Street. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.
