Felony Arrests

Sammy John Bronner, 39, homeless in Yuba City, was arrested at 7:20 p.m. Dec. 24 by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department on the 2200 block of Lincoln Road on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

Pawan Sharma, 54, of the 900 block of Heritage Way, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 7:50 p.m. Dec. 26 at his home on suspicion of making criminal threats. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Joshua D. Acosta, 23, of Bay Point, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 12:39 p.m. Dec. 27 in the 2700 block of Kristen Street on suspicion of evading police and driving a vehicle without owner consent. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Anita M. Garcia, 35, of the 1500 block of Rushing Street, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 26 at her home on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats. She was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Emmanuel Moreno, 27, of the 600 block of Gray Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 4 a.m. Dec. 27 at Gray Avenue and Bridge Street. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.
