Felony Arrests

Douglas G. Matulich, 38, of the 1800 block of Elmer Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 12:58 p.m. Jan. 17 at his home on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, false imprisonment and making criminal threats. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Aaron E. Pankey, 48, of the first block of Garden Highway, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 10:45 a.m. Jan. 17 at his home on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and possession of concentrated cannabis. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Shawn I. Taplin, 31, of the 1500 block of Anneka Lane, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5 p.m. Jan. 17 on Palora Avenue on suspicion of driving a vehicle without owner consent. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Arquimides Matus-Luna, 35, of Elk Grove, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 6:22 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 2300 block of Pennington Road on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Jonathan L. Dorris, 19, of the 1600 block of North Beale Road, Linda, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 3:37 p.m. Jan. 17 on North Beale Road on suspicion of receiving stolen property. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Daryl W. Davis, 26, of the 1100 block of Melton Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 5 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 1900 block of Sixth Avenue on suspicion of controlled substance possession. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Markus L. Pace, 26, of the 1600 block of North Beale Road, Linda, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 3:37 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 6000 block of Gossett Way on suspicion of petty theft with prior convictions. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Vanessa L. Whalen, 35, of the first block of Jones Street, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 12:28 a.m. Jan. 17 in the 4500 block of Ardmore Avenue on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, assault with a deadly weapon, and controlled substance possession. She was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Lana D. Mallory, 30, of the 1400 block of Germaine Drive, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba County sheriff' Department at 4 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 1100 block of North Beale Road on suspicion of petty theft with prior convictions. She was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Richard H. Hatfield, 52, of the 1700 block of Swezy Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 10:17 p.m. Jan. 17 on Plumas Street. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Steven M. Barbieri, 22, of Modesto, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 9:05 a.m. Jan. 17 on Highway 99. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Parmjit Singh, 32, of the 1600 block of Josephine Way, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 7:49 p.m. Jan. 17 on Lincoln and Walton. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Gregory A. Whiteside, 34, of the 1200 block of East 22nd Street, Marysville, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 11:47 p.m. Jan. 16 at 12th and B streets. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.
