Business Briefs: Small-business course offered
Budding and existing entrepreneurs can find all the information they need to start and grow a small business during a 14-week course at the Yuba Community College District Small Business Development Center in Yuba City.
The course starts Feb. 12, with classes held from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. every Tuesday at 1227 Bridge St., Suite C.
The cost is $150 for the entire course or $30 per individual class. To register, call 822-0140.
Partnering for charity offered by Sutter Health
Sponsorship applications are available through March 1 for local organizations interested in partnering with Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region in support of awareness and fundraising efforts.
The application period supports activities from June to December.
The program helps Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region to support programs beyond its hospitals and care centers, said David Yamamoto, Sutter Medical Foundation division executive, in a statement.
