Letter: Heckman co-worker vouches for candidate

For 30 years, I worked closely with or for the Sutter Superior Court. Since 1992, I was honored to serve the local families and children as the Sutter Court family court services' mediator.

During those two decades, I mediated at least 20,000 or more child custody and visitation sessions.

Given my 20 years of experience in family law court cases and my 10 years at the Yuba Sutter juvenile hall, I understand human dignity and work ethic.

Attorney and judicial candidate Sarah Heckman and I worked together for a decade with many other dedicated professionals to promote the best interests of Sutter County children and families.

On a daily basis, I observed Sarah consistently demonstrate leadership, integrity, decisiveness and impeccable attention to detail.

In addition, I worked with many Superior Court judges and I see the same keen intellect, legal competency, demeanor, temperament and work ethic in Sarah Heckman as I observed in the finest judges with whom I worked for 30 years.
