Three Cheers: Rosser deserves the acclaim

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Hats off to a most remarkable celebrity of our own headquartered on 40-Mile Road near Wheatland.

Cotton Rosser has most deservedly been recognized with for the highest honor a cowboy could receive by his induction into the Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City. Cotton is the charismatic ambassador for not only the Flying U Rodeo but for our county. His rodeos are a vibrant blend of wholesome entertainment and patriotism that leave our passions rekindled for living in this great country. Some of the most famous cowboys, cowgirls, bulls and broncs of all times have performed and spent time at the ranch.

Would it surprise you to know that Cotton stages rodeo productions not only in the United States but in such far-away places as Guam, Germany and Japan?
Thank you, Cotton and Karin Rosser.

Sandy and Jack Gilbert

PAY HIKE?
What should the board of trustees do with the proposed $29,282 pay raise for Chancellor Nicki Harrington?
Rescind it. Now is not the time.
Give it to her. She should be compensated fairly and competitively.
