Yuba City woman in critical condition after rollover crash

A Yuba City woman injured in a rollover crash early Saturday remains in critical condition in a Roseville hospital.

Maryellyn Teresa Palmeri, 49, remains at Sutter Roseville Medical Center, the hospital’s communications department confirmed, after she was taken there by air ambulance on Saturday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Palmeri was driving her 2009 Nissan Altima south on Walton Avenue outside Yuba City when she apparently lost control and rolled the car several times. Palmeri was ejected from the car during the rollover.

No one else was injured in the accident early Saturday morning, though a dog in the car with Palmeri was slightly injured, according to the CHP.
