• What is your favorite part of the job? The occupational therapy activities with autistic children at Riverbend Elementary School

• What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? My father was in the Air Force and we moved here in 2003 from Germany. He is retired now, but we remained here.

• Where would you like to live after college? I plan on finishing my AA at Yuba College, then transferring to American River College for the sign language interpreting program.

• What is the closest you’ve been to a famous person? At an airport in South Carolina I was waiting in the van for my aunt. I saw LL Cool J walking into the airport! I was going to run up to him but my mother stopped me and said I would be bothering him. I really wanted to meet him.

• What was your favorite/least favorite subject in school? Favorite subject was math, least favorite was history. I can’t remember dates.

• What are your favorite places to go in the Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? Vallejo. It holds memories of my times with my grandma.

• What is your dream job? Cryptographer

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? A big house for my family - and one for me.

• Favorite sports team: Deaf Freaks (paintball)

• Whom do you most admire and why? My parents because they raised my siblings and I. My mother has a strong will, and my father is patient.

• How would you describe yourself? Short and sweet

• What kind of pets do you have? My parents have three dogs: Chief, Jazzy and Streigh.

• Do you have any pet peeves? People talking on the cell phone while driving.

• What are some of your fondest memories? Playing Mah Jong with my grandma.

• What are your favorite foods? My mother’s cooking and anything with potatoes.

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? The traffic. Somehow I would change the traffic here to make it better and less congested.

• Do you play any instruments? Used to play clarinet, tuba, and baritone in high school.

• Favorite movie: “Set it Off”
