Wedding: Curtis/Applegate
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Hilary Elizabeth Curtis and Nicholas James Applegate, residents of Citrus Heights, were married May 16 at the Newcastle Wedding Gardens in Newcastle. Jason Fansleau officiated.
A reception followed at the Red Horse Barn at the same location.
The bride is the daughter of Bonnie Curtis of Yuba City and Alton and Kay Curtis of Woodland. She was attended by her sister, Jennifer Kulpa of Rohnert Park, as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Whitney Still and Marissa Kildare, both of Yuba City, and the bride's stepsisters, Kim Colombara of Woodland and Jenny Cobb of San Francisco.
Attendants also included Janet Rowe of Roseville as a flower girl; and Samuel Kulpa and Calvin Kulpa of Rohnert Park as ring bearers.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Yuba City High School and was an AFS exchange student in Helsinki, Finland. She graduated from California State University, Chico with a bachelor's degree in rangeland science.
The groom is the son of Ronald and Janice Applegate of Rocklin and Carol and Mark Patterson of Roseville. He was attended by his brother, Kristoffer Applegate of Sacramento, and his father as best men.
Groomsmen were Justin Torrence of Citrus Heights and Kyle Wonderli of Colorado Springs, Colo., and the bride's brother, Eric Curtis of South Boston, Mass.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Oakmont High School in Roseville and has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Davis, and a master's degree in business administration from CSU Sacramento.
Both work with the U.S Army Corps of Engineers in Sacramento, she as an environmental resources biologist and he as an economist.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
