What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Born and raised here.

What do you like about the are? The people.

Where would you like to retire to someday? Maybe Hawaii when my kids grow up.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Brandon Vera — I shaved his head with a straight razor.

What would you do with a million dollars? Help out my community.

What is your dream vacation? With an RV travel to every state in the US, live in each state for two or three months.

Favorite television show as a kid? "The Simpsons."

Who has had a strong influence in your life? My grandmother. She's always been there for me.

Tell us about a memorial experience: Going to the 2002 World Series Giants vs. Angels.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? A baseball player or football player.

What would you like to see different in the community? I'd like to see the people in the community get more involved, people helping out with kids, youth; start a YMCA.

What is your pet peeve? Lines and shadows on haircuts.
