Name: Dale Geweke.
Family: Husband, Larry; children, Brett, Kellie and twins Joanne and Nancy; six grandchildren.

Occupation: Retired — I was a preschool teacher.
What is your new year's resolution? To get more organized — I used to be organized, but our youngest daughters are twins. That threw that out.
Hobbies, interests: I like reading and scrapbooking and play bunco.
Where do you get your news? Internet, TV and newspaper.
What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? When we bought John C. Bayes Ford in 1986. We moved from Lodi.
What do you like about the Yuba-Sutter area? I love the people.
What is the closest you've been to a famous person? We were in an elevator with (football player) Emmitt Smith and his family in San Diego.
What would you do with a million dollars? Help the kids, and the grandkids with college; donate to the (Geweke) Pink October Foundation; maybe buy a place in Sonoma so we have a place to stay when we visit our daughter.
Who has had a strong influence in your life? My parents — they set high standards for us kids, (and) they were very loving.
Tell us about a defining moment in your life: I was in a bad car accident when I was 19 — it was not our fault, we were hit head-on. I missed a semester of college, have had my right hip replaced twice and had back surgery.
Favorite places to go to in the area? We like Lake Tahoe, and the foothills. This area is such a great location.
What would you like to see different in the community? I'd like to see Marysville more successful.
What is your pet peeve? Noisy people in theaters.
What do you like about yourself? I try to smile a lot and try to be happy. I try to be nice to people.
Favorite musical group: Right now I like Michael Bublé and Adele. I had Michael Bublé as a ring tone, (but) everyone got tired of it. I didn't.
