Douglas Y. Dang
Douglas Yew Dang, 63, of San Mateo died March 4, 2006, at his residence.
Born in Sacramento, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for many years, living in Marysville.
He was city attorney for San Mateo from 1980 to 1984 and in private practice since 1984, in Dang and Trachuk, in Oakland.
A 1959 graduate of Marysville High School, he was a 1963 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. In 1969 he graduated from Hastings Law School.
He served at the Pentagon with the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Gabrielle Dang of San Mateo; two sons, Robert Dang of Foster City and Michael Dang of San Mateo; a sister, Shirley Dang Dere of San Francisco; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Carrie Dang, and a brother, Edward Dang.
