Navy E-3 Dustin James Delaney

U.S. Navy E-3 Dustin James Delaney is the son of Shawn and Debra Delaney of Olivehurst and brother to Kristin, David and Kodi, also of Olivehurst. He is grandson to Thelma and Skip Delaney of Olivehurst, Lucille Lynch of West Sacramento, the late Michael Baumgart and the late Tate Lee.

Delaney attended Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts and was active in Kuk Sool Won. He graduated in 2006, attended Yuba College and joined the Navy in January 2008.

Delaney attended recruit training and "A" school at Great Lakes, Ill. He was trained as a gas turbine technician and is stationed at Pearl Harbor Naval Base, Hawaii.

Delaney is currently deployed to the Persian Gulf aboard the USS Paul Hamilton DDG-60.
