Letter: Fine bad dog owners

Is there or is there not a leash law in the city limits of Marysville? If there is, no one seems to enforce it. I take care to keep my own dog fenced in my backyard and walk her on a leash. But my neighbors have to let their little dogs run around all over and yap and annoy passing people and dogs.

When I'm walking my dog I usually see other dogs running loose and try to avoid them in case they are vicious. Mine is mellow.

So would somebody wake up and pass out fines to these owners? There - now there's another way to make money for this broke city.
