Occupation: I'm working at Bel Air Supermarket and planning to study physical therapy at Sacramento City College.

Hobbies, interests: Writing — I am a big writer — playing tennis.

Where do you get your news? Internet and newspaper — I work at a grocery store, so I see the newspaper all the time.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I was born here. My parents came here when my dad was stationed at Beale.

Where would you like to live someday? I want to move to Southern California — I've been there and I loved it.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? An actor who was in the movie "Mission: Impossible"; I was at an art museum in New York City, and he was there also looking at art. I didn't know who he was — it wasn't Tom Cruise — but people were saying it was amazing how close I was to him. I don't remember who I was told he was.

Whom do you most admire? My dad because of all the crap he puts up with. He's in remission for cancer and still puts up with his job and family and takes it in stride.

Tell us about a life-changing experience: When I found out my dad had cancer. It made me appreciate him more.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? I used to want to ride horses for a living. I loved horses. Not now. Horses are not as important as people.

Favorite places in the area: Any of the antique shops.

What is your dream job? I want to be a physical therapist.
