Hobbies, interests: I like to read, listen to music and cook.

Where do you get your news? I read the Appeal, in print and online.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? My mom moved here when I was a young child.

Where would you like to settle down someday? I would like to live in the state of Washington. It's beautiful — so many trees, the air is actually clean.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I took a picture and autograph from Jada Pinkett Smith at Oz Fest in 2005 at the amphitheater. I didn't know she was a singer until she walked out on stage.

What would you do with a million dollars? Feed the homeless and buy my mom a house that I can (hopefully) live in.

Who has had a strong influence in your life? My mom. She had her first child at a very young age but has always stuck through the difficult times.

What is your dream job? I would love to be either a veterinarian or an executive chef.

Favorite places to go to in the area? The river during the summer and going to my best friend's house.

What is your dream vacation? I would love to travel around Europe.

Do you have a favorite memory to share? This past September I bought my mom and I a plane ticket to see my brothers in Washington. We spent a week there — it was great.

What would you like to see different in the community? I would like to see an Arby's.

What is your pet peeve? When people talk to me like I'm a child.

Favorite musical group: Pink Floyd — I was born and raised listening to classic rock and golden oldies such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Cream, Patsy Cline, Diana Ross. I have a memory I can relate to with every Pink Floyd song.
