Family: Three children, Teresa Jacobs, Chris Obregon and Matt Holub; a dozen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Occupation: Semi-retired ... I do more now than I did before.

Hobbies, interests: I like the outdoors, but my main focus and interest is helping people, especially youth. I like to help the ones who are really in need.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I was here for a number of years, then moved to southeast Arizona and came back for family.

Place of worship you attend: Calvary Christian Center, Olivehurst

How long have you attended? I started attending recently.

What is the importance of faith in your life? It's life itself. It's vision, it's purpose, it's a relationship. It's an answer to every question. It's not about religion or church, it's not about feeling; it's about knowing.

How do you live out your faith? I try to live like Jesus lived and taught us to live. My major heart is helping youth, especially those at-risk. (Recently) I was driving down the road and saw three young men. I talked to them about God, Jesus, that he loves them just they way they are; he is real and they would be welcome to come to church. I felt compelled to let them know someone loves them.
