Letter: Live Oak farm family backs Ron Sullenger

Our family has farmed in the North Butte area of Live Oak for several generations, so to us it is very important to elect a person to the Sutter County Board of Supervisors who will best represent our community as well as family and farming interests. We believe there is a clear choice in this election, and for us it's not the continual candidate who is well-known in and around Live Oak.

Lots of local "name recognition" is not always a good thing.

We prefer to think that a credible history of successful business and farming achievement tells us that Ron Sullenger is where we are putting our family votes. Ron has actually founded a couple of successful local businesses on his own, has always been involved in farming and is a family man with strong family values. We believe his real-life experience and family values are certainly something good for folks like us in District 1. Please join us in supporting Sullenger for supervisor this Nov. 6.
