Occupation: Owner of Sodaro Orchards; paraeducator, health aide and food services technician for St. Isidore Catholic School.

What is your favorite part of the job? My favorite part of working with children is seeing the daily joy they bring to life and the smile on a child's face when they've accomplished a goal. My favorite part of working with the public during the summer at Sodaro Orchards Fruit Stand is establishing a relationship with the customers, educating them on our products and seeing that enjoyment as they find their favorite variety of fruit.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met LL Cool J in Las Vegas.

If you were granted one wish, what would it be? To end hunger.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I'm a fourth-generation farmer born and raised in District 10, Marysville.

What was your first job? I worked at Sodaro Orchards for my grandparents for as long as I can remember. My first real job outside of the family was for Ron Carlos as a hostess/waitress at Casa Carlos.

What is your dream job? I'm living my dream job. My passion in life is farming and children and I get that with both of my careers.

Favorite places to go to in the area? My favorite places are areas on our property. My husband and I take the kids around the rice field,s and any time of the year you can always find the most beautiful sights in your own backyard.

What are some of your fondest memories? Growing up in District 10 with my family: Learning Italian traditions from my great-grandmother, grandmother and my ma. And falling in love with my husband.

Favorite quote: You need three things in life to succeed: a wish bone, a back bone, and a funny bone.

What kind of pets do you have? We have three dogs, one cat, 21 fish and two guinea pigs.
