Police Blotter: August 11, 2008

FELONY ARRESTS

• Floyd Alfred Reed Jr., 30, of Marysville, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 4:54 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 800 block of Ramirez Street, Marysville, on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Michael Jeramie Solarzano, 31, of Marysville, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 1:29 a.m. Aug. 9, in the 1700 block of Sampson Street on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Erol Akchurin, 52, of San Carlos, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 1:42 p.m. Aug. 9 on the Yuba River, north of Parks Bar, on suspicion of possession of narcotics. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Bonnie Bernice Morris, 27, of Marysville, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 8:35 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 1100 block of North Beale Road, Linda, on suspicion of burglary. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Richard Aaron Burbank, 46, of Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 2:21 p.m. Aug. 8 at Arboga Road and Melody Road, on suspicion of petty theft. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Mathew Taylor Higashi, 30, of Magalia, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 9:40 a.m. Aug. 8 at Highway 70 and Plumas Arboga Road on suspicion of cruelty to a child and driving under the influence. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Shane Allen Saylor, 40, of the 500 block of Gray Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City police at 2:15 a.m. Aug. 10 at his residence on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Miguel Angel Ruiz-Hernandez, 30, of the 2300 block of Maple Park, Live Oak, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 8:05 p.m. Aug. 9 on Garden Highway on suspicion of cruelty to a child and assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE ARRESTS

• Garry Allen Dickerson, 25, of the 4600 block of Powerline Road, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 12:55 a.m. Aug. 9 at Highway 70 and Erle Road. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Jason Heath Wilkerson, 22, of Olivehurst, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 11:50 p.m. Aug. 9 at Olivehurst Avenue and 10th Avenue. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Doris Denise Johnson, 49, of Sacramento, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 12:28 a.m. Aug. 9 at Highway 70 and Feather River Boulevard, Linda. She was booked into Yuba County Jail.

• Kawalpreet Singh Gill, 20, of Sacramento, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 11:35 p.m. Aug. 9 at Highway 99 and Hutchinson Road. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Reynaldo Martinez-Ramirez, 30, of the 100 block of Percy Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 10:19 p.m. Aug. 9 at Shasta Street and Colusa Avenue. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.

• Gilberto Ruiz-Hernandez, 41, of the 4100 block of Railroad Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 7 p.m. Aug. 9 at Garden Highway and Shanghai Bend Road. He was booked into Sutter County Jail.
