What is the importance of faith in your life? It is my love and my confidence in the Lord, that I am his vessel to be filled with his will. As a home health nurse, the first time I felt the holy spirit was with a dying patient as we were praying. She was my very first patient to die.
How do you live out your faith? I was taught by my dad that it was always you treat people the way you want to be treated. I’ve always tried to help anyone in need of either monies or food. I see it in my grandson – he has the biggest heart for the down and out. I would like to think he has learned that by watching my example: I am president of the women’s association, on session as an elder, sing in the church choir, am an usher and a money counter.
