What is the importance of faith in your life? I don’t have to wait to clean up my act before approaching God, I can come to him as I am. In spite of all my faults and shortcomings, God loves me and wants to have a personal and dynamic relationship with me. He wants to be actively involved in my life, and I think that’s where I find true fulfillment and joy in life; when God becomes the center of who I am and what I do.Through my relationship with Christ, I have found true meaning in life here on Earth, and I have the hope of everlasting life.
How do you live out your faith? Too often I feel like I don’t have to love others because they don’t deserve it or they haven’t earned it. But Romans 5:8 tells me that “God demonstrates his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Christ sacrificed himself for me when I didn’t deserve it. When I view my interactions with others in light of what Christ did for me, it puts things in a different perspective. It teaches me to show others love because Christ showed me love when I was undeserving of it.
