• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met Mickie Rooney and Bill Walton while working as a hotel clerk in Sacramento. Mickey Rooney had just done a show at Music Circus and Bill Walton was in town for a Grateful Dead concert.

• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? La Porte, The Sacramento River (for fishing) and all the golf courses around here for golfing.
• What are some of your fondest memories? When I was a little tiny boy, my older brother had polio. He wore those Frankenstein boots and leg braces. He would try to tell me what to do and I figured he couldn't catch me, but he'd catch me every time. He'd beat a tom-tom on my chest and shove blades of grass up my nose.
• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? I think we should be a more tolerant society. Lighten up, man! We're all only here for a little bit.
• Do you play any instruments? I tried sax, tuba (and a couple others). They said, "no way" and they kicked me out of band.
• Favorite book: "Walden II" by B.F. Skinner
• Favorite movie: "No Time for Sergeants" with Andy Griffith
• What is your worst fear? That the human race will never figure out that we shouldn't be killing each other.
