What brought you to the Mid-Valley area? My dad's lived here his whole life; mom is from Barstow. I was born in Gridley.

What do you like about the Mid-Valley area? It's the small town. I love living in the country. There are friendly people everywhere, everyone knows someone.

Where would you like to live someday? I picture myself living around this area for the rest of my life.

Where is a dream vacation? Australia — I want to see the historical things there.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I had a picture taken with Taylor Swift at one of her first concerts, way before she was famous.

What would you do with a million dollars? Buy everyone in my family a house. (For me) maybe buy some kind of boat. It would be nice to...be out for several weeks on the ocean.

Who has been a significant influence in your life? My mom. She's always been there, has taught me a lot.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? A country singer. I love music and singing.

Favorite places to go to in the area? I like going to the Sutter Buttes; my family has property up there.

What would you like to see different in the Gridley/Biggs area? More community events.

What is your pet peeve? When people are late.

What do you like about yourself? That on a person's bad day I can make people laugh.
