In Marysville, gas prices have been dropping steadily over the past few months, and are down another 27 cents from November, according to a recent report by AAA Northern California.
For the state, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.62. That's down 23 cents from last month, according to the report.
Gas prices are falling across the country as demand remains low and supplies stay high, said AAA spokeswoman Cynthia Harris, in a release.
The demand will increase slightly during the Christmas season, the report said. However, the downward pressure on gas prices will remain as 2013 rolls around.
