• What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I was born and raised here as a rice farmer.

• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? We were in Reno, Nev., and I saw Clint Eastwood at one of the hotels. This was when I was a kid, so I really don't know too much. I remember seeing his face.

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? I would wish to win the lottery, of course, and to be in the Olympics.

• Favorite television show: "Deadliest Catch," "Extreme Logging."

• Favorite sports team: Kings, Oakland Raiders.

• What was your first job? Rice farmer. I really liked that. I wish I could do it.

• How would you describe yourself? I'm an outgoing man. Sense of humorwise, I do pretty good with that. I'm just an all-around good guy.

• What kind of pets do you have? Dog named Gus

• Do you have any pet peeves? I don't like people second-guessing me. It really ticks me off.

• What was your favorite/least favorite subject in school? I didn't really like school too much. I just went through school to graduate. Least favorite subject: I did not like English.

• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? I like to go up to Sly Creek to go camping. I love it up there. I love to camp.

• What is your dream job? Airline pilot

• Do you belong to any clubs or organizations in the community? NRA

• What are your favorite foods? I love Chinese food. I love lobster. I'm an all-around seafood kind of guy and I love steak.

• Hobbies, interests: Hunt, fish, jet ski, four-wheel, just do what I can.

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? I'd help the homeless out because there's seems to be a lot of them coming into the Yuba City area. That's about it.
