Amanda Gengler and Patrick Horrigan, residents of New York City, plan to wed Aug. 24 in Sonoma.
The bride-to-be, daughter of Robert and Jennifer Gengler of Yuba City, is a 1999 graduate of Yuba City High School.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in New York in 2003 and a master’s degree from New York University in 2004 and works as a writer for MONEY magazine in New York City.
Her fiancé, the son of Tom and Jean Horrigan of Baltimore, Md., is a 1998 graduate of Loyola Blakefield High School in Baltimore.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University in Connecticut in 2003 and works for APG Asset Management as a risk manager in New York City.
