• What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Husband was in the Air Force and stationed at Beale in about 1969.

• Where else have you lived? Kansas, Florida, Texas, Maine

• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I sat next to Frankie Laine in San Francisco at the Orpheum Theatre.

• Favorite musical artist: Barbra Streisand

• Favorite television show: "CSI"

• Favorite sports team: San Francisco 49ers and Sacramento Kings

• Whom do you most admire and why? My son Ron. He's intelligent. He knows almost everything about antiques, guns, clocks ...

• Tell us about a life-changing experience: When my husband died

• Favorite saying or motto: Always try to help those in need.

• How would you describe yourself? Self-sufficient, informative, happy, determined

• What pets do you have? A lab named Inky

• What was your favorite/least favorite subject in school? Favorite: English and grammar; least favorite: math, biology

• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Sacramento area? Arco Arena, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Lucio's Restaurant

• Favorite movie: "Pretty Woman"

• What are some of your fondest memories? When my children were born; being stationed in Maine

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? More activities for the young people so they would have some place to go, like a big community center, so they would have different activities to keep them off the streets.

And that everyone would communicate with each other for better understanding at what to do in the government.
