Olivehurst teen found, returns home

An Olivehurst teen who disappeared Friday morning turned up Saturday afternoon in Marysville.

"She was found over by Marysville High School," Paul Gonzales said of his daughter, Adriana Miranda Gonzales, 15. "She was wanting to go home. She was scared to call me, I guess."

The teen called police at about 5:30 p.m., Gonzales said.

She was last seen leaving her home around 7 a.m. on Friday.

"She got scared and didn't come back," the father said. "She was scared she was going to get in trouble. I don't know why she took off in the first place."

The Yuba County Sheriff's Department treated the teen's disappearance as an "at-risk case."
