40th Anniversary: Leonard

Yuba City residents June and Raymond Leonard Sr. will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this month, with plans for a trip to Maui, Hawaii, at a later date.
She is the former June Askew.
The couple were married Feb. 9, 1973, at the Chapel of the Bells in Reno, Nev., and moved to the Yuba-Sutter area from Pinole in 1986.
He retired from the Standard Oil Refinery in Richmond and enjoys gardening.
She enjoys floral technique and her home.
Their travels have included visits to Nevada, Nebraska, North Dakota, Tennessee, Arizona, Hawaii, Acapulco and the Caribbean.
They have a blended family of five children, seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
