90th Birthday: Savedra

Longtime Marysville resident Carlota B. Savedra celebrated her 90th birthday with festivities July 5 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Al Wood, in Marysville.

Thirteen of her 14 children attended the event, traveling from Alaska, Oregon and Arizona as well as California

She was born July 5, 1918, in Willard, N. M.

Her hobbies include gardening and arranging photo albums. In addition, she enjoys traveling, with her most recent trip a few years ago to Lourdes, France, and has been to Italy, Germany and Mexico.

Her family includes numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
