Myrna T. Salter
Myrna Teresa Salter, 95, of Marysville died Sept. 1, 2006, at the Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, Ore.
Born in Great Falls, Mont., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 41 years, previously residing in Coos Bay and Colville, Wash.
A director for the Red Cross and a First Aid instructor, she was also a civil defense coordinator. Also, she sang and played the organ for events.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Marie Anderson of Marysville, Roberta Bunnell-Clow of Willits and Vernetta Barnett of Hillsboro, Ore.; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Salter; and a son, Vern Salter.
Services: Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Sierra View Mortuary in Olivehurst, with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1767 14th Street, Olivehurst. Private burial is at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst.
