Letter: Enforce immigration laws

I am concerned about our hard-earned tax dollars being used to:

• Fund welfare for immigrants and their children who are in our country illegally.

• Fund the education and health care of children of illegal immigrants.

• Fund border police and jails for the apprehension and imprisonment of persons here illegally.

• Fund border patrols but not allowing them to do their job effectively.

Citizens of the United States of America need to pressure Congress and state officials to enforce the current immigration laws, and require employers to use the e-verify system to ensure workers are here legally and not using phony IDs to cover up their illegal presence.
