Wedding: Hasey/Maher
Lauren Hasey and Joey Maher, residents of Washington, D.C., were married June 2 at the Mountain Room Patio at Yosemite National Park.
A reception followed at the same site.
The bride, daughter of Ray and Janine Hasey of Yuba City, was attended by her sister, Briana Hasey of La Jolla, as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Julie Tan of Sacramento, Skye Scheiblauer of Portland, Ore., and Elsa Yan of New York City, N.Y.
Attendants also included Gracie, Sarah and Emma Hill of Cameron Park as flower girls.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Yuba City High School and received a bachelor’s degree in international studies/political science from University of California, San Diego in 2007. She received a master’s degree in philanthropic studies from Indiana University in 2011.
She works as a program manager for the National Center for Family Philanthropy in Washington, D.C., and is a member of the Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy and Young Nonprofit Professionals.
The groom, son of Joe and Terry Maher of Turner, Maine, was attended by his father as best man.
Ushers were the groom’s brothers, Robby Maher of Cleveland, Ohio, Kenny Maher of Washington, D.C., and Tony Maher of Chicago, Ill.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Leavitt Area High School in Maine and received a bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business, in 2007.
He is attending American University-Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C.
The couple honeymooned in the Cayman Islands.
