Letter: Headlines in poor taste

I was appalled at a recent front-page "headline" as your latest way to shock people. This isn't a Howard Stern publication, you know. I am referring to that perp who had unacceptable closeness or whatever you want to call it with those children.

I was reading my morning paper and eating breakfast, and I could not read that stuff. It literally made me sick.

And how about that gay headline you had? Unacceptable. She may be proud of her leanings, but that headline was surely in poor taste. I am not referring to the young lady in any way ... just the headline.
