Letter: Herger endorsement requires apology

Last night I saw our representative, Wally Herger, declare at a public meeting in Redding that a man who stood and identified himself as a right wing terrorist was a “great American.”

I am appalled and disgusted that Mr. Herger would stoop so low as to pander to the basest motives of his constituents. He should offer an apology and retraction of his remarks immediately.
