Marysville resident Irene House is celebrating her 90th birthday with family.
She was born Feb. 24, 1917, in Bridgeport, Ore., and is a longtime Yuba-Sutter resident.
She and her husband, the late Bob House, founded the business Kwitcherkikin.
An active antique collector, she also enjoys gardening, still drives and in her late 80s started attending concerts including Tom Petty, Sting and BB King.
Her family includes eight children, Wayne House of Marysville, Betty Girod of Linda, Hellen Gamble and Pat Bean, both of Yuba City, Mary Carrelli of Browns Valley, Cindy Webb of Rackerby, June McCain of Mendocino and Juanita Brown of Washington; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
