Maria R. de Sousa
Maria Robertina de Sousa, 72, of Yuba City died Dec. 6, 2006, at Rideout Memorial Hospital.
Born in India, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for four years.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville.
Survivors include a daughter, Charmaine de Sousa of Yuba City; two sons, Cecil de Sousa of Melbourne, Australia, and Cedric de Sousa of Mumbai, India; a brother, Soter Da Costa of Goa, India; two sisters, Clarita Collaco and Lina Pereira, both of Goa, India; and five grandchildren.

Services: A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Seventh and C streets, Marysville, with the Rev. Joseph Huong officiating. Inurnment will be at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Mumbai, India. Arrangements are under the direction of Lipp and Sullivan Chapel in Marysville.
