• What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Husband relocated here about 10 years ago.

• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I worked in Napa Valley and met Robert Wagner and Stephanie Powers at the Mt. View Hotel in Calistoga where they were filming the TV show "Heart to Heart."

• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? Food and shelter for all

• Favorite musical group: Elvis Presley

• Favorite television show: "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" with Meredith Vieira

• Favorite sports team: Anyone my son, Andy, plays for. He plays baseball for the Missouri Valley College Vikings.

• Whom do you most admire and why? My father, Leo Riley. He raised 11 kids after my mom died. He worked three jobs. He just loved everyone of us so much.

• Tell us about a life-changing experience: My daughter is ready to move out of the house. I'm not ready for her to move. I'm not ready for her to leave.

• Favorite quote: "It's important that people know what you stand for. It's equally important they know what you won't stand for."

• What was your first job? In 1977 I dressed up as Peter Pan at an amusement park in Washington.

• How would you describe yourself? Probably the way my kids would. I'm just laid back. I'm just an old hippie.

• What was your favorite/least favorite subject in school? Favorite was English, least favorite was science

• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? Oroville to visit my sister

• What is your dream job? Retirement

• What are some of your fondest memories? When my babies were little.

• What are your favorite foods? Watermelon and seafood

• If you were in charge, what would you change about the community? Add a roller rink, skating rink and a batting cage

• What was the last good book you read? True crime stories

• What is your worst fear? Something happening to one of my kids.
