• Hobbies, interests: I like to travel, especially cruises, and crocheting.
• For what groups do you volunteer? Butchie's Pool for the past five years — this year named as co-Volunteer of the Year. I do whatever I'm asked to do, help in the office, with the fundraisers.
Though I officially no longer volunteer with the American Cancer Society after more than 20 years, I still drive friends who are patients from their homes to medical treatments.
I also helped with Relay for Life when it started.
I don't volunteer as much because of my health.
• How do you fit it into your schedule? I don't have much of anything else to do — you put it on your schedule.
• Words of advice: Everybody has time. You have to find what you're interested in and ask.
