Pet of the Week: Jody a lovable, laid-back pooch

Our pet of the week, Jody, is a laid-back and lovable female tan and white labrador retriever mix. She is about 5 months old, quiet, calm, and gets along well with cats, kids and other dogs. Jody has a lot of love to give, and if you'd like to adopt her and make her a part of your family, please visit the Sutter Animal Services shelter at 102 Second St., Yuba City, or call them at 822-7375. Jody's ID number is A101361. There are also many other urgent dogs and cats at the shelter waiting for homes.

Cali, the 21⁄2-year-old pit bull mix, Peaches the 1-year-old female pit bull mix, and Ash the 2-year-old female Domestic Shorthair cat, are all still in foster care with ResQpaws. Harley and Smokey the 7-year-old domestic longhair and domestic shorthair brothers are still at the Yuba City PetSmart. These animals are all spayed/neutered and still looking for homes. All other pets of the week have found homes.
