Pvt. Curtis D Kempton

U.S. Army Pvt. Curtis D. Kempton is the son of Gerry and Alicia Kempton of Yuba City.

He is grandson to James and Nancy Kempton of Loma Rica and David and Nancy Pummill of Yuba City.

Kempton graduated from Albert Powell High School June and joined the Army. He completed his basic training and advanced infantry training at Fort Knox, Ky., attaining expert marksman status.

Kempton recently married Jennifer Quinliven of Yuba City.

Kempton is stationed at Fort Hood, Texas, as an M1A2 armor crewman and is scheduled to deploy in February to Iraq.
