Letter: Spouses should be more affectionate

I was shocked how the human race can go from bed to bed, and hurt everyone around it, including the kids.

Wives, show your husbands how much you love them, with just a kind look and soft kiss, when they are not expecting it.

Husbands, do the same, but remember, women were created with an emotional, irrational state of mind. Romance, and perfection thanks to television and soap operas, don't help.

Take home some flowers twice a week. Surprise each other with a baby sitter for the kids, and go have a nice dinner.

I have recently found out that a family member was cheating, and apparently it was because the wife was not affectionate.

Is that truly a reason to cheat? What happened to the communication of telling each other everything no matter what the consequences?

A little communication would have prevented a possible divorce, and being part of the statistics. God bless.
