Wedding: Konsella-Roth/Norene

Jennie Konsella-Roth and Davin Norene, residents of Monterey, were married Sept. 20 at Pilot Peak Winery in Penn Valley.

An outdoor reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Karen Roth of Sisters, Ore., and David Konsella of Merrill, Wis. She was attended by Michelle Lalonde of Washington, D.C., as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Lauren Schroeder of Davis, Amy Sekhon of Sacramento, Sarah Owens of Kennewick, Wash., and the bride’s sisters, Katie Konsella and Kristi Konsella, both of Merrill, Wis.

The bride is a graduate student in international policy at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a member of the Prytanean Women’s Honor Society.

The groom is the son of Donald and Sandy Norene of Rio Oso. He was attended by Michael Bosworth of Wheatland as best man.

Attendants also include Jack Behles of Oakland and Hunter Nowak of Oak Creek, Wis., as ring bearers.

Ushers were Albert Fruetel of Arboga, Nick Racklin of Monterey, Mike Behles of Oakland and the groom’s cousins, Matthew Norene of Cottonwood and Kevin Swartz of San Francisco.

The groom works in marketing and sales with Morgan Winery of Salinas Valley and with Norene Ranches Inc. of Rio Oso.

The bride and groom are both graduates of the University of California, Davis. They are planning a honeymoon to the Mediterranean.
