Patricia L. Koury

Patricia Lee Koury, 74, of Yuba City died Feb. 19, 2007, at her residence.

Born in Brush, Colo., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 18 years.

She was a homemaker and taught classical piano for 35 years.

Also, she taught other music teachers by the Pace Music Method.

She was a member of the Community Church of Christ in Yuba City.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Aleah Koury of Yuba City; three daughters, Rebecca Koury and Lynn Bankhead, both of Yuba City, and Cindy Canaday of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Aleah Koury of Paso Robles and Gregory Koury of Austin, Texas; a brother, James Reynolds of Santa Cruz; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Reynolds and Nancy Markus.

Services: A graveside service is at 10 a.m. March 17 at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave., Sutter. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.
