Army Pvt. Anthony R. Rodarte graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
The son of Melissa and Joseph Galea of Browns Valley, he is a 2011 graduate of Marysville High School.

Air Force 2nd Lt. Anthony Lavy, the son of Bob and Tina Lavy of Yuba City, completed pilot training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
He is a 2010 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Lavy will be stationed at Travis Air Force Base, 349th Air Mobility Wing, and fly the KC-10.
He and his wife, Kelly, are both graduates of Sutter Union High School. His family also includes his grandparents, Tony and Deanna Pollizzi of Marysville.

The son of Darcy and Ron Sylvester of Plumas Lake, he is a 2009 graduate of Marysville High School.

He is the son of Ronald Sangston of Sutter and Dawn Sangston of Desert Hot Springs.
