    The Acting Company since 1990, current president.

    Business and Community Healthcare Partnership for about 10 years, current chairman.

    Looking Out for Our Kids and its Olivehurst Christmas Parade, current chairman.

    Sutter County General Plan Update Committee member for more than two years.

    Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce, immediate past chairman and current co-chair for tourism.

    Family of the Year emcee and organizer.

    The radio station sponsors several local events including the community Easter Egg Hunt, a Halloween carnival, Toys for Tots drive, Historical Fair at the Yuba Sutter Mall.

    "The fact that I operate the radio station gets us involved in the community."

    • How do you fit it into your schedule? By the nature of the job I have, it's a big part of my job to be a part of the community. I really enjoy doing this and am blessed to have a job that allows me to do a lot of things in the community.

    • Words of advice: There is an opportunity for everyone in the community to volunteer for something to better the community. People should take the opportunity to find what may be productive for them and rewarding and do it.

    • Quote: "A lot of people could get involved (in the community) if they take the opportunity to. Most would find it very rewarding."
