Letter: Give Harlan credit for taking stand

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

Three cheers for Bob Harlan. His letter to the editor (”Do the right thing: Rescind pay hike,” Jan. 27) pointed out that a salary increase of such magnitude to the college district chancellor at this time is the most blatant slap in the face to all of us.

Bob is a highly respected businessman who has the guts to stand up and be counted, and remind us once again what an upstanding, honest citizen he is.

It is apparent the persons giving the increase are using someone else’s money.
