Letter: Every state should consider death penalty

America is dying – it has seen an increase of murderous crimes each year. Criminals in some states don’t have the death penalty as a punishment. Ever since 1976, the federal government let the state governments decide on having the death penalty as a form of punishment. America’s federal government needs to pass a bill stating that every state must make the death penalty an option.

America’s lack of capital punishment is taking a toll on our city’s streets. People think that they can kill others without paying the price for it. The criminals behind bars get feed, educated and get entertainment for taking other people’s precious lives away. We pay tax dollars for these murderous criminals to be behind bars.

The people of the United States can do something about this. We can tell our state representatives to have this bill passed in our Congress. We can stop feeling bad for criminals and give them the punishment they truly deserve. Fellow Americans, will you join me to give these murderous criminals the punishment they deserve? Lets make America safe again and have the death penalty mandatory in every state.
